Coal acquisition advisory: 80,000 MT from Peru to European industrial client

Akiraryu was appointed as intermediary by a European energy procurement company seeking 80,000 metric tonnes of thermal coal sourced through Salaverry Port, Peru. Our role included supplier vetting, commercial negotiation, and coordination of the full documentation chain: SPA, BCL, mine inspection certificate, and shipping laycan.

The mandate was closed within 45 days of signature. The cargo was delivered CIF to Rotterdam with no quality disputes. A 12-month rolling supply clause was subsequently agreed between the parties.
